The breathtaking scenery at Cuckmere Haven, with the Seven Sisters and Coastguard Cottages, has been used many times as a backdrop for TV adverts and major motion pictures seen by millions.

Guy Fawkes landed here so did Robin Hood. Dickens lived here and Queen Victoria walked the beach. Cheryl Cole sang here and Harry Potter, Foyle's War, Green Wing, Luther and Atonement were all filmed at Cuckmere Haven.
Even Bollywood has come to Cuckmere Haven to film a dance scene on the beach.
This film crew were spotted on a bit of a grey day, filming their latest blockbuster on the west beach at Cuckmere; the famous Coastguard Cottages can be clearly seen in the background.

A German fashion company which sells itself on the British look calling itself The British Shop shot pictures for their new brochure today.
"We chose this location because it is breathtaking. For other people from other countries these are the white cliffs and this is the view which makes us think of Great Britain .
These cottages in this location are spectacular, we all want to live here, please look after them!"
